GPSClock News

A new GPSClock?

I am always on the lookout for better and more precise timing solutions. While the GPSClock 200 is very good at its price/performance point, there are certainly more precise GPS timing receivers out there. So far, though,
there haven't been any that came in the integrated package of the GPSClock 200. Well, that has changed. Synergy GPS has integrated the Motorola M12+T timing receiver into the Timing 2000 GPS antenna, creating a high-performance, self-contained, integrated GPS timing unit. Here is a picture of the unit:

I've received my first evaluation unit. The good news is that there are no connectors to build for the cable and that the cable can be ordered in almost any length. The bad news is that the unit is quite a bit more expensive than the standard GPSClock 200.

A few small changes

As you may have noticed, the look of this site has changed recently. I hope that it is a bit nicer than the old look. I will also be announcing a few new products: I hope to resell a new device soon, based on the Motorola M12+ Timing board, as an improved version of the GPSClock 200. I'll also be reselling the M12+ itself. There is another device coming as well, an integrated NTP server also based on the M12+. Finally, I hope to offer a very highly stable system based on a GPS-stabilized oscillator that will server NTP as well as potentially provide a solid, NIST-traceable frequency reference.
